The Earth Firecracker Festival is typically held in autumn. In the competition, earth firecrackers must be made from clay from the riverbed, kneaded until very pliable and smooth, turning a shiny pink color like wax before it can be used to mold the firecrackers. All participants can make firecrackers, with each team consisting of 3-4 people, receiving 25-30kg of clay to compete in making firecrackers quickly.
