• Cat Ba Night Market: Located on 1/4 Street, in the town center, open from 6 PM to 10 PM. Sells dried seafood (squid, shrimp), pearls, souvenirs, t-shirts, cheap and easy to bargain (20,000-150,000 VND/item).
• Cat Ba Market (Central Market): Near the pier on Nui Ngoc Street, operates from 5 AM to 7 PM. Specializes in fresh/dried seafood, fish sauce, honey, better prices than the night market, suitable for buying in large quantities.
• Specialty shops on 1/4 Street: Along the main street, near hotels, sell honey, fish sauce, pre-packaged pearls, prices from 100,000-500,000 VND, guaranteed quality.
• Cai Beo Fishing Village: 2 km from the center, near the Beo pier. Buy pearls and seafood directly from the locals, at the original price, but you need to take a boat.
• Hotel souvenir counters: In large hotels such as Catba Island Resort, sell specialties and handicrafts, convenient but more expensive (150,000-300,000 VND).
